As the only ensemble dedicated to music for flute, cello, and guitar, San Francisco based Black Cedar is devoted to creating the new, discovering the neglected, and re-imagining the old works for this unique combination. The program for Old St. Hilary’s includes music by Bach, Piazzolla and Hungarian songs and folk dances by Nathan Kolosko. Black Cedar are: Steve Lin, guitar, Kris Palmer, flute, and Tyler DeVigal, cello. Black Cedar has won awards from the Zellerbach Foundation, the San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music, and the National Flute Association for their innovative approach to both new and old music.

Tickets available at the door (if not sold out) will be $30 & $25, starting at 3:30 p.m.
Free parking for this event is at the Boardwalk Shopping Center, 1550 Tiburon Blvd., where a shuttle car will drive you to the concert. Shuttles will begin at 3:30 p.m. in front of Rustic Bakery. Only limited handicapped parking is available at Old St. Hilary’s.
